I have been a working photographer since 1988, by taking portraits of legions of children as they progressed through a myriad of sports in Norther Virginia.  In 2000 I had the opportunity to take my skills to a different level and began work within the federal government as a staff photographer.  During this time I found my self surrounded by other talented photographers, designers, and videographers.  I began to evolve and seriously study the art of photography.  I aligned myself to professional photographers through a series of workshops and classes: Maine Media Workshops, Northern Virginia Community College, Glen Echo Photography Workshops, Blue Ridge Workshops, Washington Safari, Capital Photography Center,  and Tillman Crane Workshops. 

While I still love the joy of capturing young athletes, I have expanded my sights to include headshots for entrepreneurs developing their web sites, photos for web site design, and fine art photography.
